I/We understand that in considering my/our application, Stonebridge Group may search my/our records at a credit reference agency(ies). The credit reference agency will add details of this search to their records, which will be seen by other organisations carrying out later searches.
I/We understand that it is important that I/We provide accurate information, as it will be checked with a fraud prevention agency(ies) and, if false information is given, and fraud is suspected, this will be recorded.
I/We understand that Stonebridge Group and other organisations may use these records to: -
•Trace debtors, recover debts, prevent fraud, and to manage my accounts or insurance policies;
•Check my identity to prevent money laundering, unless I/We furnish Stonebridge Group with other satisfactory proof of identity.
I/We understand that certain data and records held about me/us and my/our business relationship with Stonebridge Group will be held on a computer system (The Data). I also understand that in order to allow itself and other members of the financial services industry to assess the suitability, conduct and credit worthiness Stonebridge Group may wish to share some or all of the Data with third parties, including but not restricted to Credit Reference Agencies (or their agents), the Financial Conduct Authority and other companies authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
